Benché sia fedele alla massima di Benjamin Disraeli che dice: “Ci sono tre generi di bugie: le bugie, le maledette bugie e le statistiche”, leggendo la fonte ritenuta dai più fidedegna relativa alla diffusione del Covid nel Mondo ossia il sito https://www.arcgis.com/apps/opsdashboard/index.html#/bda7594740fd40299423467b48e9ecf6 ,

mi domando con qualche irritazione in più: fermo restando che il dato degli Stati Uniti relativi ai casi confermati è messo in evidenza, perché mai i dati relativi al totale delle morti effettive risulta diviso per ognuno degli Stati che compongono gli Stati Uniti? 

Insomma, i contagi sono Unionisti e le morti dei Confederati?
(Per semplificare: i morti negli Stati Uniti sono oggi oltre i 24000 e hanno superato quelli italiani, ma al dato dovete arrivarci per deduzione, cliccando sui dati aggregati degli USA).

I wonder: given that the data from the United States relating to confirmed cases is highlighted, why is it that the data relating to the total number of actual deaths is divided by each of the States that make up the United States? In short, are the contagions Unionists and the deaths of Confederates?
